Paul Allen has decided to retire from The Georgia Club. Paul has worked with hundreds perhaps thousands of players over the years at Tennis For Life (TFL) for many years and The Georgia Club (TGC) for the past around 8 years. Thanks for helping all the players improve their games. Marc Gallant will be moving from Jenning Mill Country Club (JMCC) to The Georgia Club starting Dec. 1, 2023. Patrick Martin has replaced Marc at JMCC. Andy moves to TGC and Nick moves to Athens Country Club (ACC).

Stacey Venker at Tennis For Life (TFL)

has decided to retire on June 30 2023

She has given lessons and been training players and fellow instructors for the past 36 years in the Athens area. Her knowledge, enthusiaum, and devotion to her students will be sorely missed. Taylor Dodd a current instructor at TFL will take over the Oconee County Recreation Department tennis program on July 1, 2023. Tall Socks Tennis is the new name.

After 38 seasons as head coach Jeff Wallace is retiring as UGA women's head coach. Long time assistant and former UGA player Drake Bernstein will be the NEW head coach. Thanks to Jeff and looking forward to Drake continuing the excellence that is UGA tennis!

 

Stacey Venker at Tennis For Life (TFL)

has decided to retire on June 30 2023
